I did run a solid steel bar (round, 12 mm diameter) from the front engine bolt to one of the four bolts where the front sidecar connector is fixed to the frame.
Just because I found out that in sharp bends the chair was moving about 1 cm from left to right.
This is basically what is meant by "vierter Anschluss". Three connections from sidecar to motorcycle frame is theoretically enough, but the front one is very long and soft, so it improves the handling a lot to add another connection there.
Easy on an ES model, which has a frame tube under the engine. Somewhat more difficult on later models due to the elastic engine suspension - there a fourth connection would have to be longer to connect to some solid bit under/behind the engine.
