Hello Donny,
welcome from an ex-silverstar-rider. (and now twostrokes only  )
I think you`re talking about a velorex-sidecar, is this right?

Regards Ralf

Thanks for the reply Ralf. It's looks like this in the Silver Star paint:

It seems to be a velorex-sidecar, I think so.

Looks pretty in silver. :ja:

And what was Your question on top? How many i will be worth, when bike and sidecar are
together?

Regards Ralf

Hi,

a SilverStar with a sidecar (Velorex, i think), could be worth more then 3000 €.
I depends on the condition and the seller, of course.

Greetings,
Richard

Sorry for misunderstading - you have the oportunity to pick up a sidecar or a Silverstar with a sidecar? If it´s only the sidecar, it will be a "Velorex" as Richy wrote?! In this case it´s important, that all connecting parts are included, it should be hard to find them in the U.S. Pictures would make it easier for us to help you. If no parts are missing, about 6 -700 € would be a good price I think.

Velorex 562. This was standard for the MZ-Rotax with sidecar.

Genau; er hat geschrieben, ein Silverstar-Gespann, welches wie neu wäre. Und ob irgendwer irgend einen Rat für einen MZ-Neuling hätte.
Gruß, Martin.

Thank you for the replies. I am waiting for the seller's price to buy, and will post up when I find out. These are very rare here in the US.

Danke Martin. Ich bin ein wenig aus der Übung, wenn ich längere Zeit mit Niemandem
Englisch rede/schreibe.

Gruß Ralf

I believe it, Donny.

Harleys and Beemers are the most used bikes, are they?

Yes Sir. Along with the thousands and thousands of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kaw "sport" bikes. I like my MZ better than all those, except for maybe a Beemer F-650 GS Dakar.

Of course, the 650 has also a Rotax-Engine?

If you can get the rear shock absorbers of the pictured bike, it could be helpfull for you! They are stronger than those for the single bike I think. Good luck! :)

Danke ETZ Chris. I am flying down to Florida next Saturday to pick up another SilverStar I purchased here: Bild. 550 original miles! This man also has the sidecar I pictured above and I will look at it, and maybe buy it too. Here is my sidecar mate:

He has his own helmet too.

Good Morning Donny! (Here in Germany is early in the morning)

In front of your dog, I see a gasket.
What is that from?

Good idea, to buy a second bike, here in this community it is normal, to have
more than one motorcycle.

How is the weather in Alabama? Regards Ralf

Hallo Ralf. Yes, you are seven hours in time ahead. The gasket is from my Jeep Comanche (in the back) engine valve cover vent tower. The weather here is turning colder. At night we go down to 0 degrees C. Winter is coming, not much MZ riding. :(

I have been to Germany (Kiel and Hamburg) a few times while in the Navy. The best beer in the world. We can not make good beer in the US. It tastes like panther piss........

No, never tasted it Martin. But I just imagine.
Bild It seems like every bar I went into had a drunken Dachshund dog stumbling around lapping up the beer. I have heard about Bavarian beer - mmmmmmmm good.
