Every time when I see a MZ in GB I think that´s a funny thing. But unless I´m mistaken there´s a large group of MZ enthusiasts in GB.

Hi Dominik, no I shall not be travelling to Sosa this year. I will take a break from crossing Europe this summer.
There are more than 1000 members in the MZ Riders Club, UK.
There were more than 500,000 MZ machines sold in the UK and many British riders still hold a great affection for them.

Dieses Bike war schon 1988 in Ungarn auf dem Pannoniatreffen.Eine ehemalige ETZ 250 mit einem Saporoschmotor.Der Mann arbeitete Tag und Nacht bis der Motor in diesem Fahrgestell war,damals in der DDR.

Not wanting to launch straight into a demanding Adler rebuild, I've decided to delay it slightly by giving my ETS250 a facelift.

It was looking a bit untidy and I've never much liked the non original colour. Instead, I've always wanted it to look like the 1,000,000th MZ that sits in Schloss Augustusburg.

So it will soon get a lovely coat of blood red and BMW black, powder coated and re-chromed where required and new decals as appropriate.

Nicht wollen, um direkt in eine anspruchsvolle Adler wieder aufzubauen, habe ich beschlossen, es etwas zu verzögern, indem sie meine ETS250 ein neues Gesicht gegeben.

Es war auf der Suche ein bisschen unordentlich und ich habe nie viel gefallen die ursprüngliche Farbe nicht. Stattdessen habe ich immer wollte sie sehen aus wie die 1000000. MZ, die sich im Schloss Augustusburg.

So wird es bald eine schöne Fell von Blut rot und schwarz BMW, pulverbeschichtet und neu verchromt, soweit erforderlich, wie neue Aufkleber angebracht.

Hi Lothar, I've only sent my Sosa story to Realclassic earlier this week. I expect them to use them sometime in the next few weeks.
I have no idea what has happened to the AWO425 article. Please wait until the next edition comes out and if they still haven't used it, I will e mail you to publish anyway. Life is too short to wait any longer.

We have had yet more beautiful weather today, so my ES175/1 has a run out. Photograph taken on my phone, hence the poor quality.
