Ja. Die Leerlaufdrehzahl wird über die Spannung des Gaszugs eingestellt, sodass dieser stets „schwimmend“ bleibt; zum Beschleunigen zieht man – wie bei jedem Motorrad üblich – am Griff, drückt man ihn hingegen nach vorne, schließt sich der Gasschieber im Vergaser.
Ich möchte lediglich wissen, ob es ratsam ist, den Schieber über längere Zeiträume geschlossen zu halten. Das Handbuch (das mir bereits vorliegt) scheint mir entweder schlecht ins Englische übersetzt oder möglicherweise widersprüchlich zu sein:

If you close the throttle twist-grip abruptly and completely when riding down hill, the engine will receive hardly and fuel-oil mixture (only via the slow running bore) and consequently the lubrication will be very poor.
Therefore, close the throttle twist-grip slowly to avoid seizing of the piston.
Aber an einer anderen Stelle heißt es:
Down hill the throttle twist-grip is completely closed. Thus the components of the power unit are not loaded by sporadic irregular power strokes. Chain and gear wheels will have a longer live!
