Discbrake on my TS250/0

Hi!

I am going to be putting on a discbrake on my TS250/0. I've bought a 16" frontwheel, and complete front-end from an ETZ. Now I thought it would be simple.

But then I saw this.

Now my german is not that strong, but it got me thinking, do I need to fabricate something? Or is it a straight swap?

2 questions: What is "complete frontend", the telescopic fork including upper and lower clamping head? The 16" frontweel was mounted into this telescopic fork with disk before you bought?

When you will montain a disc-break in a TS250/0, you have to change the 32mm fork into a 35mm one.
Then you can build in a 18" ETZ-front-wheel with disc brake. QWhen you hafe allready a 16"wheel with disc-brake, build in the wheel, the 3,5mm which MZ orded to put away from center, aren`t neccessarry.
I´ve don myself with a 18" front whell and driven for a long time, without any Problems.

The tripletrees won't fit? I don't need to be able to see the ID number.

By complete front-end I mean tripletrees, wheel, axle, stanchions and lowerlegs. The wheel and fork hasn't been mounted together before.

To solve the problem with the nose ther are 3 different ways:
1st
Go to your TÜV ingeneur (don't know how to say in another way) tell him the problem and ask him wheather it's possible to cut the nose and replace the ID on another place
2nd
Take a dremel or another tool an start to cut the nose. But don't cut to much. Cut so much that the ID is still viewable.
3rd
Mark the place where the lamp and the nose meet each other.
Take the lamp off. Take a small hammer and hammer on the small place where the nose an the lamp meet each other.

...& 4th way is to get trippletrees (is it the same i named clamping head ) from TS250/1, this could be te best way

Where can I find pictures of this "nose"? I can't imagine what it is.

It doesn't matter if the ID is viewable, I have registered the bike and don't need to do so again, according to the rules of Denmark

So if I don't have the lock it would be no problem at all with the ETZ clamps?

It only works with ETZ clamps if you cut of the nose from frame or use 3rd idea from mueboe

I used the 2nd method and the TÜV ingeneur was delighted with.

I will be using an ETZ headlight, will that change anything?

Oh yes, if you take the ETZ headlight id should fit.
But i can't promise.

natürlich bleibt sie das, ich habe beide brückenpaare zur auswahl gehabt und aufgrund des lenkerschlosses hab ich die TS/1 brücken genommen. der prüfer war mit dem schloss auch zufrieden und wollte kein extra mitgeführtes.

yes, thats why I use the TS/1 triple trees. you'll have another vantage if you use it too, because of your headlight. my is a ETZ type with welded TS mountings, so it might be used on both triple tree types, but i decided for TS/1 triple trees.

"ja das ist der grund, warum ich die TS/1 brücken benutze. du hast noch einen weiteren vorteil, wegen deiner lampe. meine ist eine von der ETZ wit angeschweißten TS befestigungen, man könnte man sie an beiden brückentypen TS als auch ETZ befestigen. dennoch entschied ich mich für die TS/1 brücken.
bau es wie du denkst, es wird gut werden. wenn du ETZ brücken hast dann benutze sie und sichere dein motorrad mit einem lose mitgeführtem schloss (kettenschloss, etc)"

Das sollte gehen.
MZ schreibt bei Verwendung der ETZ Klemmköpfe aber das Kürzen der Lampendreiecke um jeweils 1 cm vor.

Will ein ETZ Scheinwerfer benutzen, will nur das Lampenhalter haben fürs Puig Scheibe haben.

Kann ich meine TS250/0 Lampenhaltern an die ETZ Brücke verwenden?

da wäre ich mir nicht so sicher, die standrohre sind ja dicker, wenn da noch 3mm platz sind gehts bestimmt.
