I have an ES250/2. My problem is that the date of manufacture is unreadable on the plate riveted to the front forks.
Does anyone have access to a database showing frame numbers by date of manufacture?

If the framenumber is also unreadable at the plate you can find it rear on frame, imprinted at the holder for rear fender. In a few cases it is imprinted at the frame near the front engineholder at the right side.

The enginenumber is placed at the crankcase right behind cylinder...

-so far I've found out that the chassis numbers for the ES250/2 are as follows:
1969-1973
1430874 to 1500000
1967-1969
1300001 to 1430873

My frame number was where Ralle indicated:
14266** in other words, between 1967 and 1969.
I'm guessing it must be late 1968 to early 1969, but there any way of finding the precise date?
