Help for MZ French fan (1000 MZ Street Fighter accident)

Beitragvon FR1000DUTFIGHTER » 13. Dezember 2010 18:00

Dears,

I have a 1000 MZ SF since this summer, I bought it because I didn't find another motorcycle with this extreme look. I was really happy to be a MZ owner until a little accident this week end!

I met some sand on the road, and I fall.

Some plastic parts are broken, and now my MZ computer displays a warning, I think the 1000 is on a security mode.

Could you give me some advises in order to buy the parts broken?

Here are the pictures of my damaged friend:

Any help will be great

Thank you by advance

You could chop the other side of the front covering, too:

Is your malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on?

Hey,

if your are sure, that your bike ist no really damaged, go on driving: It takes five circles to reset the MIL (malfunction indication lamp). One circle means starting the engine, get the temperature to "normal" and turn off engine again. Afterwards the MIL ist getting turned off itself.

The saver solution ist dieis to read out your blackbox (under the driver seat) with an obd2 - standard - tool. Then you can make sure, what a mistake it is.

Best wishes, Wladimir.
