Hello All fellow Mzers.
Perhaps I should introduce myself before I ask anymore questions. My name is Brendan, I am 52 years old and live in Manchester, England and have been a long time fan of the Mz make of motorcycles. I currently own a 2001 Scorpion traveller, a 1995 Mz Rotax Country and also a Ts 250/1 which is currently in pieces in my garage

In the past I have owned several variants of Etz 250's and also TS125's and Etz 125's and have loved each and every one of them. I have only owned the Country for a week and so have lots of questions but as there are not many Mz Country's in the U.K. I have come to this forum hoping that some of you gentlemen will be able to help. Bren.

Welcome Brendan.
I never had a Country but find it´s still one of the most interresting after90´s Bike made in Zschopau.
Especially in yellow color.
But there are a lot of Rotax- and Coutry-Riders here which can help you in any Problems.
Greetings.

Thans for the welcome, apparently there were only about 12 to 15 County's imported into the U.K. so quite a rare beast indeed, lovely to ride though

Hi Brendan
apart from the fact that you have just arrived at the best MZ forum of the world

... do you know the MZ riders club?
The North Wales and Cheshire section meets: 2nd Sunday 12 noon, at the Peal of Bells, Wrexham Road, Frog Lane junction (B5102)
I suppose it is about 30 miles from Manchester. Me and my wife were there on our South England tour in 2009.
Maybe the meeting date is still valid. A Country with side car was also there...
Kind regards
Lothar

Hello and thank you one and all!
I have never received so many welcome messages on any other forum in my entire life so I think this shows what a very warm and welcoming forum this is and also how friendly Mzeders are as a whole. I'll post some pictures soon of both my Scorpion and my Country for you all to drool over.

Welcome Brendan!
I was in Manchester before (with the MZ), but only as an accident. That city is huuuge!
I left it as fast as I could...
The Rotax is one of the best MZs, if anyone is telling you something different, they're just jealous. If you need some help for that bike, you can find it here. We're maybe a little bit crazy, but that is normal here.
Regards,
Richard

Hello Brendan,
welcome here!
I´ve never been in Manchester, only London with school, and in Newcastle when we (my wife and me) went to Scotland with our bikes.
