Hello,
my MZs are only for use anytime, not to stand in the garage. The garage is not a museum ;)

I try to rebuild my TS 150 in a way, that it will manage a daily use, all over the year, in winter times too :ja: .
The MZ-motorcycles were constructed as simple, good working and long living machines, so my MZ will be used for what it was made ;D !

Not all my MZ are made for daily use. There ist one, ETZ250-with sidecar for goods, is the ideal Bike for bike-meetings in Winter, because there ist enough room in the side-car for all things, you need in Winter.
My "Schneewittchen" (Solo-ETZ250) i prefere to drive only when the streets are dry, because its painted white and its a lot of work to clean it, when the roads are dirty.
The ETZ251 with person-sidecar ist made for all days, also my TS250/1. When the roads are not icy, i ride on my TS250 to work every day (45Km one way) its cheaper than my BMW R100RT, it needs only 5 Liter Gasoline/100Km, my BMW needs 7,5Liter :(
The TS150 is buld in 1974, i have deposed it in my shed, where i repair my bikes. When i get not ready with my work (repair or inspection of my bikes  ) i can drive home with it (30Km :( ).
My both old MZ ES175/1 and ES300/1 with sidecar, i have just for fun, and they make much fun :ja:
So every of my MZ has a special part to do in my life, i won´t miss any of them! :nein:

Oh my 1975 TS150 is in all-summer-day use in the city of Rostock (around 10-15km every day)
And my 1979 TS250 is more occasionaly one-a-summer-week use to drive around the little towns in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern or farer

When it rains or the winter comes I go for my 1990 Mercedes w124 200D with 75BHP. (you see all low power vehicels ;D )

And sometimes to go for nature or the real crowed city y use a modern (WOW!) 2009 Diamand Elan 100 bicycle.

Oh and sadly the motorcycles are only in garage for winter time. Because I'm only living for rent in Rostock and have no garage around the flat.

ich use my TS/1 sidecar all over the year, but not everyday, as I am trying to go short ways by bicycle. from 03-10 I have my ETZ250 solo, the others are waiting for better times. for pulling trailers (getting wood etc.) and for long distances I have a 97 VW Passat (90HP).
