Export of MZ ES 125/1

Good evening!

My friend has a very nice 1970 MZ ES 125/1 imported from Hungary to the UK and he asked me if this model was officially exported from the DDR to the UK.

Can anyone please answer his question if possible?

The ES 125/1 wasn't exported offically to the UK. Only the ES 150/1 was offically sold to the UK.
