Entlüftungsschraube für Bremssattel

Hello!
Does anyone know if there is replacement part for the "Entlüftungsschraube". Mine is totally stuck and before trying to take it off I'd like to have a sparepart. Is the Bremssattel made by Brembro or is it an MZ fabricated thing?
I know they are sold in Germany for a couple of euros but the postage to Finland seems to be always almost 20 € and that is ridiculous.
It is quite impossible to get air out of the system as I changed the HBZ to Grimeca.
Thank you.

Well, the "Bremssattel" is an original MZ. Can't understand why the postage should be so expensive.
Give me your adress, i'll send you the "Entlüftungsschraube".

It has been manufactured by MZ, but under license from BREMBO.
Identic components should be founf in BMW R80, R45, some GUZZIs.

(next weekend MZ- meeting in MULTIA!)

Thank you for the info. I hope to get to Multia to the MZ-meeting if my bike stays in one piece.

Hey Teemu,

The MZ repair manual says, the air is comming out by itself, if you do the following:

- Park the bike on its Mainstand.
- Move the handle bar to the left
- Open the cap on the brake fluid reservoir
- Wait for about 1 hour and knock on the calliper , brake tube and HBZ from time to time (helps the air bubbles climbimg)

that's it!

The idea on this method is, that the calliper is constructed and mounted in a way that all air bubbles (where ever they hide) can climb upwards to the HBZ. For me, this method worked fine when I changed the fluid. But I'm not really shure, if it makes a difference with the Grimeca HBZ. You might try, if you want.

Hello,

That might be worth a try. I must try it tomorrow, I can leave the bike alone for eight hours so maybe most of the air comes out.
