Hello to all of you.

Recently I saw on the the Dutch site Marktplaats a Kanuni ETZ251 frame with reinforcements. I asked the seller if he did the welding but he coudn't answer me. Are Kanuni frames on those places reinforced or is it just a nice DIY job?

Glodi

Sorry there is a problem with the link so you have to try this: Go to http://www.marktplaats.nl/ and search for kanuni. There is only one advertisement so mistaking is not possible.

Hello Glodi,

what sort of reinforcements do you mean? What I can detect on the two small fotos without clear details shown
is not more than a frame probably belonging to an ETZ251 type.

Hello Michael,

I mean the reinforment between the two rear frame beams, approx. in the middle and the reinforcement immediately after the main frame beam. None of the original ETZ 251 frames I got/have seen had those reinforcements.

Very nice for saying hello in flemisch, my language. I have a great interest in history so I visited Dresden several times, from the early 90's till 2005. I even become aware that there was an old lady living in my to much urbanised village originatig from Dresden. She was maried with a flemisch soldier who served in the german army during WW2 ( he was punished severely after the war for collaboration, even with a leg lost on the eastern front)

Hi Glodi,

if you mean the linking tube between the shockers, it appears to be quite original.
Show me an original detail and than lets compare it.
