My ETZ251 -1989 has the original electronic ignitionsystem but i am planning to buy a new system to be sure that the originalsystem not fails cause of age, it will be a Vape system. But i cant see any reason to also change the charging system, it works just fine. Are the ETZ generators poor quality?

The ignition sytem costs 99€ and a complete ignition with generator 250€, that is alot of money extra if the original generator works fine.

Its working fine.

I have the ESE ignition om my ETZ and it forks fine still, but it feels safer to put a newer ignition on it. No need to change the generator??
