Rechts & Links Federbein?

I have a new left and right rear shock absorber pair for my SilverStar. In the parts book it lists the left as part number 30-26.725; the right as 30-26.726. I can see no difference. Does it matter? If so, how do I know what is left or right? Danke - Donny

I´m not sure, but the direction of rotation, to get the springs stronger, shoult be different To get stronger shock absorbers, the direction of rotation should be clockwise at left- and otherwise at right sight.

@all: Wie werden die Stoßdämpfer an der Silverstar montiert- gehe ich richtig in der Annahme das die Verstellung für die Vorspannung gegenläufig ist und bei richiger Montage auf beiden Seiten nach vorn zu drehen ist umd die Vorspannung zu erhöhen?

Ja, so sollte es sein - das istauch der Unterschied, bei den alten mit Hebel stand ja noch die r/l Kennzeichnung drauf

Check that the lever to adjust the force of the spring works to the outerside. If you assemble them in a wrong way, you have to turn the lever closer to the wheel.

Silver Star Federbeine haben keine Hebel, die werden mittels eines Stifttes aus dem Bordwerkzeug verstellt. Daher sehen die Verstellmuffen auf den ersten Blick identisch aus...

There is no lever on the SilverStar shocks. But when changing from solo to dual riders the load ring on the shock body is rotated as Ralle posted. So I'm okay. Danke!
