Lenkungsdämpfer

Hallo bei meiner MZ 500 Voyager ist wohl der hydraulische Lenkungsdämpfer defekt. Der Lenker flattert im unteren Geschwindigkeitsbereich. Also flugs einen neuen bestellt. Beim Blättern im Forum ist mir aufgefallen, dass das dicke Ende am Beiwagenrahmen verbaut ist. Bei mir ist es genau umgekehrt. Ist es eigentlich egal wie herum er eingebaut wird?

Hast du einen Lenkungsdämpfer aus einem PKW oder etwas spezielleres? Die aus den PKW`s liegen dort auch meist waagerecht. Ich kann mir vorstellen das die in allen Lagen funktionieren. Bei meinem Gespann ist der dicke Teil aber nach unten,am Schwanenhals.

Habe ihn aus dem PKW Bereich. Es ist ein Lenkungsdämpfer von Mercedes Typ W 124.

I am also looking for Lenkungsdämpfer for my Silver Star cafe. The picture below is from my MZ 500 parts manual, and is a friction Lenkungsdämpfer. Does anyone know if these are still available? Anyone have a complete one for sale? Danke.

EDIT: I am a complete Dumkoph and have no idea how to ask "Güsi" if he has all the MZ parts necessary to add the friction steering damper to a Silver Star fork. If anyone of you guys could ask him if possible when you have time it would be a super favor to me. Used parts are okay too! Danke All, and sorry if I steal the topic. -Donny

Soweit mir bekannt -
ist die Funktion gegeben egal wie die Einbaulage ist-
nur muss der hydr.Lenkungsdämpfer frei beweglich sein (Querverspannungslos).
Und sollte im ganzen Arbeitsweg nicht in Berührung mit anderen Fahrzeugteilen kommen.

Man hat bei Dir möglicherwiese die Einbaulage so wie beschrieben gewählt damit Schmutzwasser
von der Dicht-Abstreiflippe von selbst durch die Schwerkraft wegläuft

bei mir ist das Teil ebenso verbaut gewesen an meinem EX Gerät

Kommt auf die Bauart an.
Wenn die Stange auf beiden Seiten des Dämpfers heraussteht, dann ist die Lage egal.
Wenn sie nur auf einer Seite heraussteht, dann ist in dem Dämpfer ein Luftpolster zum Volumenausgleich und die dicke Seite sollte tiefer stehen.

But I am not familiar with the silver star parts.
I don´t know if the "normal" damper unit from the ETZ 250 models will fit on the Silver Star.

Guesi has a complete Lenkungsdämpfer for the ETZ 250 but is not sure (as I am) if it will fit the Silver Star fork. Can anyone of the learned forum members verify? Thanks,
