Hi,
1. Connect all wires,
2. Unsrew the spark plug and plug it in (!),
3. Mount your dial gauge,
4. Find out the BTDC and reset the dial gauge to zero,
5. Turn the ignition to "on",
6. Put the spark plug to "ground",
7. Turn the crankshaft to see the spark (yes, you'll see it!) at the ignition time,
8. Turn the ground plate of the PVL so far, that you'll get the spark at 2,5 mm before BTDC,
9. Fix the ground plate,
10. Check the ignition time once more,
11. Open a bottle of beer...
